Cost of Living Help and Advice – Developed by St Georges Patient Participation Group

The members St Georges Medical Centre Patient Participation Group Steering Committee have come together to gather some helpful information during this difficult time.  The team have pulled free information from organisations who can provide help and support.  We will also put some hard copies of the information in our Reception at the surgery for anyone who needs a written format.  We hope this helps.  If anyone has information to add, please contact us via email at cmicb-wi.stgeorgesppg@nhs.net or mention it to the Receptionist on your visit.

Scams

As Energy bills rise, scammers are seeking to take advantage of unsuspecting consumers.  Their latest trick involves sending a malicious text message link that asks you to sign up for the governments latest energy grant.  Energy Grants are being automatically applied to your bill – do not click any text message or email links, do not give your card or account details and do not pay any money for support with this.
